Handmade sterling silver pendant on a 16” oxidized sterling silver chain. The crescent moon symbolizes intuitiveness, psyche and empowerment, and can represent new phases in life, new chapters, and new beginnings.
Sand casting is an ancient technique where I create a mold using slightly damp sand and then pour molten silver into the mold. I take scraps of recycled sterling silver and melt them down to create each pendant. It is delightful alchemy.
