Handmade sterling silver pendant on 18” sterling silver chain. Crafted from clay and then cast in solid silver, hawk is a symbol of vision, wisdom and awareness. Many cultures view these mighty birds as protectors, with their presence suggesting that you are being watched over.
Sand casting is an ancient technique where I create a mold using slightly damp sand and then pour molten silver into the mold. I take scraps of recycled sterling silver and melt them down to create each pendant. It is delightful alchemy.
