Acorn Pendant
Handmade sterling silver pendant on a 16” oxidized sterling silver chain. A gambel oak acorn is used to create the mold for this solid silver pendant. Acorns symbolize growth, potential, and inner strength.
Sand casting is an ancient technique where I create a mold using slightly damp sand and then pour molten silver into the mold. I take scraps of recycled sterling silver and melt them down to create each pendant. It is delightful alchemy.
